1. Huskers win! For the first time since 2016, the Nebraska football team has won 6 games in the season, meaning they qualify for a owl game. We Husker fans are ecstatic! Go Big Red!

2. I got an order in from Bath and Body Works. I haven’t gotten anything from them in a while, having moved on to more natural soaps and such. But last year for Christmas, I was gifted a lotion, and I’ve been enjoying the scent of it and the feel of it. So I went bac and forth on it, and then I thought of my Aunt Peggy. We used to love B&BW products. We gifted them to each other and shopped there together when we could. I don’t get to see her as often as I’d like these days, so I thought this might be a nice reminder of those times with her. I got 4 lotions and 5 hand soaps, so the scents will bring back memories through the year.

3. Today was a perfect fall afternoon. It was maybe a little warm, but it’s hard to really be upset about that. But the leaves were falling and there were perfect clouds in the sky. All I needed was the scent of chimney smoke as I walked down the hill from my friend’s house, and I was ready to be 9 again and to get up on Thanksgiving morning and work on cutting fruits for a fruit salad while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Those are some of my favorite childhood memories.
