1. Snow! They said we might get a dusting, but we got a couple of inches. It’s mostly melted already, but it was so beautiful. Okay, now I’m ready for Christmas. I’m not going to go all out myself, but I will try not to be grinchy to those who do.

2. It was a good sports weekend. Nebraska lost, but they put up a good fight. The Chiefs won. Der Classiker (German soccer) ended in a draw, Man City lost, but Liverpool came out on top. They are having a season, so it’s hard to be too upset about that. LA Galaxy beat Seattle Sounders in the MLS semifinals. WWE’s Survivor Series didn’t totally suck. There were 3 very full days of sportsing, and now I probably need some rom coms or Christmas movies or something, but it was all good.

3. It was a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving. We ordered food from a local restaurant, French this year, and it was all delicious if perhaps covered in a bit much parsley. I got some mini pies from Crumbl, and they were delicious. There was plenty of food, and our cat loved getting some of the turkey and gravy (it’s his favorite food), and we all just had a nice time. I was missing some of my family this year, especially my Aunt Mary, who we lost in July, but it was still a good holiday, and having a 3-day weekend afterwards was the best.
