1. The Marlow Murder Club on PBS. Unlike the Horowitz mysteries (Magpie Murders, Moonflower Murders), I have not read this one yet. And this morning I got caught up with the first 3 episodes, and soon the final episode will air and I will watch it. It’s just lovely, and even my boyfriend who is not a fan of all the British shows I like was enjoying himself this morning. I think it’s exceptionally well cast, and I hope there are more seasons. At least I know there are more books.
2. I tried David Chang’s Momofuku instant ramen, a high end version of the grocery stores ones that are so inexpensive. The Momofuku noodles are exquisite. This time I just tried the noodles and the sauce. Next time I’ll add vegetables and meat and make it a real meal. It will be delicious.
3. For the first time in a long time, I made brownies. I am a chocolate chip cookie girl myself, so I rarely make brownies, but every once in a while those fudgy chocolate bars are just the thing.
