1. Stopping. I took my car in to get the brakes checked, and apparently it's a wonder I could stop at the garage at all. They were a hot mess, and it cost me lost of pretty pennies to get them all fixed, but now I can stop whenever I want to. I am very excited about that.

2. Oreos. They're chocolate. They have a creamy center. They're delicious and I love them.

3. It's June, and here in Kansas that usually means that we're already stuck with weekends that will melt you if you try to step outside. But it's almost July, and this weekend has been in the 70s. The weather has been amazing, and it was the perfect weekend for Big Slick. Big Slick, for those who don't know, is when celebrities come back to Kansas City to have fun and raise money for the local children's hospital. Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, Dave Koechner, and Eric Stonestreet host it every year, and they're joined by friends such as Kevin Pollak, Weird Al Yankovic, Gerge Wendt, Sarah Chalke, and Zachary Levi. (For more information, check out their website here). The Big Slick guys always go to the Royals game on Friday, with their own softball game right before. This weekend, the Royals pulled out a last minute win against Toronto that was spectacular, and it was an all-round fantastic weekend. That made me very, very happy.

4. Because I just said about the Royals, I also have to shout out to my soccer team, Sporting KC, who played a fantastic game yesterday against L.A. One special mention has to go to Ike Opara, for the fantastic goal he scored, Ike's bike, a near bicycle kick that went straight for the back of the net. Like I said, it was an all-round fantastic weekend!
