snapshot 1.17

just finished: nothing. I’ve been bouncing around in a lot of books and haven’t made it through anything. But I’m in the middle of a lot of good books.

currently reading: This week there are several really good rom coms coming out, so I decided to make it a weeklong theme. The book I’m furthest along so far is Enjoy the View, the third in the series set in Moose Springs, Alaska (the first is The Tourist Trap and the second is Mistletoe and Mr. Right; they’re all adorable, and once you visit Moose Springs you won’t want to leave until your out of books. Actually, even after you’ve read them all, you still won’t want to leave. I keep hoping Sarah Morgenthaler writes more!). This time, the romance is for Easton, mountain guide and moose whisperer, and it’s so much fun!

up next: If an entire week of rom coms sounds like hell to you, then hang on, because the next week will be primarily thrillers, so that should help balance the universe back out. I say “primarily” because while I have more than enough thrillers to talk about for 5 days straight, one of the books that comes out on the 26th is Bump, a middle grade book about a girl who wants to wrestle, and I can’t wait to dig into that one! I’m going to want to talk about next week, I’m sure.

I was lucky enough to get to work with Celadon Books this year, and they were kind enough to send me this pin. I posted it on my insta with this caption. I think that says everything I’m feeling about this:

Thank you so much, @celadonbooks, for the books you shared with me last year and for this lovely pin! I’m so moved that you thanked me for being a book blogger, when I couldn’t do my part without you! I can’t wait to see what you’re publishing in 2021! #luckyreader #bookmail #gratefulreader #bookblogger
