purple wheelchair bag

My mother has been in a wheelchair since she had a stroke, and I am always looking for ways to make her life easier. I thought this Wheelchair Side Bag looked good and would work out well for her.

I was a little worried that this bag was meant to be on the outside of the right-hand wheel and couldn’t be reversed for the left-hand side. My mother has still had issues with her agility, so sometimes it’s easier for her to use her left hand. But then I realized that this could also be used on the left-hand side. It just has to be on the inside of the chair for that, so it doesn’t interfere with the wheel at all, and actually that made it even easier for her to reach her drink.

The front has a flat pocket as well as a larger pocket that can fit snacks or a wallet and the cup holder, and the back has a couple of mesh pockets. There are pulls on the zippers, making them easier to use for hands that have lost some dexterity. And it’s made from nylon, so it’s waterproof and durable. There are Velcro straps to keep it in place, and I love the purple color. I have been really happy with this wheelchair bag, and I’m happy it will last and keep my mom happy for a good long time.
