1. Everyone is home, healthy, and mostly happy. The house is clean, there are fresh sheets on the bed and a new mattress pad, and we have cupcakes. Life is good.

2. It’s starting to feel a little like fall. Today was gorgeous, with blue skies that went on for miles and a light breeze with a coolness under it. There are some leaves down, just a few so far, but with Halloween coming fast, I’m glad to see some changes and I look forward to getting my flannel on.

3. Yesterday were the No Kings rallies and while I didn’t go, I was heartened to see how many people did, all over the world. I haven’t heard of any issues, just peaceful protests. I am happy to see that things went well, and I hope that we can start to see some changes in the government.
