1. Snow day! My company almost never closes for snow or ice. But this week we had another day where the weather started as rain and then as the temperature dropped, it switched over to ice and then snow. And then it snowed. And it snowed. And it snowed. I went into work that morning, but by 10:30 they had decided to close up and send everyone home. So I got to come home, put on my comfy flannel pants, and got to spend all afternoon hanging out with this guy (see below). I was thrilled!

3. Usually I’m not a big fan of those days where the temperature goes up or down by many numbers. It was super cold Thursday and Friday (see snow day, above) and then it was up to the 50s today (60s? I wasn’t paying all that much attention). So what I’m saying is that Thursday we got 6+ inches of snow. And it’s almost all melted already, just a few days later. They didn’t even get all the streets plowed until Friday morning, and then the temperatures flew up with lots of sun, so now most of the snow is melted. For once, I’m not too upset. It seems to have worked out this week.
