1. MLS is back! Sporting KC lost their first game today, but it was fun to watch them. I think they just need some time to come together and gel as a team, so we’ll see how the season goes. But it’s back, and that makes me happy!
2. The Food Network’s Tournament of Champions is back for a third season, with twice the chefs. It should be a great season, and I’m looking forward to enjoying the cooking and the judging!
3. Saturday was the day that comes every 6 months where we have to take the cat to the vet. Taking him in for a checkup is always difficult, because the way our vet works is a drop-off appointment. Pet parents take their dogs and cats early in the morning, and the vets check them out and then call the pet parents for pick-up throughout the day. We had to be without this guy for hours, and that was rough. But he’s healthy and he’s back home, and he has been very hugged. Love this guy and all the joy he brings to our home!
