1. The temperatures this week went back up to the 60s, almost to 70, but this coming week they’re heading back down. That is what makes me happy—flannel weather! Bring on those 30s and 40s! I want snuggly blankets, hot tea, and thick socks. Love them all!
2. A few weeks ago, we got a survey on our grocery store receipt. I like to fill these out, because our grocery store is pretty terrific, and I love to say nice things about the people who work so hard there. But filling out the survey also gives us 5% off our entire grocery order, which these days is a big deal. Every penny counts in grocery stores these days. So we got to use our survey coupon today, saving a nice amount for our weekly dinners and lunches. And the best part? Today’s receipt had another survey on it. Score!
3. Surprise early Christmas presents. My mom sent us this ceramic gnome, and he’s adorable! (The other guy is pretty cute too, or he would be if he wasn’t all attitude when I tried to take his picture, but he was already ours.)
