1. The weather right now is absolutely amazing. Here in Kansas, we usually don’t get much of a spring. It goes straight from winter to summer with maybe a few days in between. But right now, it’s not too hot yet, there is a lovely breeze (not those wretched winds that stir up all the pollen and allergens). The sun is shining, and it’s a little but perfect out there. I am enjoying this lovely Kansas spring!
2. There is snickerdoodle dough chilling right now. That is always a good thing.
3. All things considered, I’m doing okay right now. It feels weird to say that when there is so much difficulty in the world right now. But you know what? I’ve been through terrible times and made it through before. This is a challenging time for us all and things are far from perfect. But I have a lot more support now than I have in other bad times. I have a roof over my head and plenty of food. We never ran out of toilet paper or anything else of importance. We’ve stayed healthy. All in all, we’ve been super lucky through this. I know that luck isn’t permanent, and everything could change quickly. But I am so grateful to my family and friends, and especially to an amazing boyfriend and totes adorbs cat who have made my day-to-day living so much richer. I have not always considered myself lucky, but I sure am now. (Love you guys!)
