1. Friday was Valentine’s Day, and my boyfriend said he wanted to make me whatever I wanted for dinner. I said chicken parm, and he made me the most delicious, delectable, wonderful chicken parm I’ve ever had! And he got me chocolates (Christopher Elbow, my favorite—if you’re not from KC, google him to see the most beautiful artisan chocolates!). And it was just a wonderful evening with my 2 great loves, Brad and DonDon. I am so lucky!
2. I decided to start my taxes today, and I actually just plowed all the way through and went ahead and filed. So that’s done, which always feels wonderful! And I’m getting money back, which makes me happy.
3. This season of Food Network’s Worst Cooks has Anne Burrell (of course, she’s been there every season) and newb Alton Brown. He is so funny on this show! I’m not sure he’s enjoying the experience as much as I am, but I am enjoying this, I think, more than any other season of this show. And there have been some good ones! I am really looking forward to that last meal, to see what he comes up with for that final competition.
