1. This was a rough week. There is a lot going on politically speaking, and I am struggling with that. Here in the middle of the country, I feel helpless to do much. But what is making me happy is the resistance I see online and hear about on the news. Judges are saying no. People are calling in to their Senators. There are protests. It helps ease some of my fears about the future.

2. Yesterday, we binged the latest season of Slow Horses. This show is so fantastic. It’s beautifully written, well cast, and full of surprises. I am ready for the next season (coming later this year! Woot!).

3. I usually type up my thoughts for the week on Sunday evenings, but today I’m early. Tonight is the SuperBowl, Chiefs v. Eagles, again. I have no idea what will happen. There will be overpriced ads, some of which will be good and some won’t. There will be delicious food, since my boyfriend is making his famous ziti. There will be music. There will be football. One team will win. And people will drink too much and call out from work tomorrow. I am hoping for the Chiefs to get their three-peat, as it would be unprecedented. So we’ll see what happens! Go Chiefs!
