I’m just going to say it: I’ve been having trouble reading lately. I was looking forward to a long 4-day weekend, to get to a bunch of the books waiting for me. And I just can’t get into them. Maybe it’s a reading slump. Maybe it’s just been a really challenging year and I need to give myself a break for a while. I’m not sure. But while I can’t read more then a couple of pages right now, I can listen. I have been listening to audio books, and that is giving me the story fix I crave without taxing my brain with words. So expect to hear a lot about audio books in the next few weeks. And if you are an audio book fan, go to Audible as soon as possible—everything is up to 85% off for subscribers.

just finished: The Guilt Trip by Sandie Jones, on audio. It’s a domestic thriller about three couples on a trip together for the wedding of one of them. But with rumors and gossip flying, no one knows who to trust or believe. And then it gets crazy.

currently reading: I’m listening to The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, by Dame Agatha Christie, and I am loving it.

up next: Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey. Because: Christmas!
