recently finished: nothing. Last week got extra-stressful at work, so my reading time was spent watching old Top Chef seasons and trying to relax.

currently reading: I'm reading Kevin Wignall's new novel A Fragile Thing. I've had him on my TBR list for a long time, and this is the first time I've had a chance to pick up one of his books. I'm really enjoying it. His writing style makes reading feel comforting, but the story is good enough to keep me moving forward. I was also hoping to read my book club book this weekend, but that didn't happen. I'm saving up all my book club posts to share in December, so later this year, I will reveal all our book club picks and what I thought of them. There have definitely been some books I would never choose for myself, so it's been a really good experience for me.

up next: Louise Penny has a new Armond Gamache novel coming out at the end of the month, and I CANNOT WAIT TO GET TO IT!! I'm not completely caught up with the series, but I am completely in love with each and every longtime character. Louise Penny is my favorite author right now, and I will recommend all of her books with all my strength and energy. Read them. Read them in order. Read them out of order. Listen to them as audiobooks. Listen to them on a loop. Just let Louise Penny be a part of your life. Your life will be better for spending time in Three Pines.
