remember: do NOT get the laser scope no matter how much he begs!

It's just after the first of the year, so I am sure you are looking at your list of New Year's Resolutions, wondering how to get them all done. Well, I am here to help. I know that many of you are worried about how to have that special talk, especially since you keep putting it off. But now there is a book that can help you, with lots of practical advice and encouragement: How to Talk to Your Cat About Gun Safety (And Abstinence, Drugs, Satanism, and Other Dangers That Threaten Their Nine Lives).

This adorable little book gives lots of important tips for talking to your cat about critical topics, and to help you understand just how vital it is to have these conversations, there are lots of pictures of cats putting themselves in dangerous situations with guns, the internet, and catnip. Overall, this book is purrrfectly charming.

Now keep in mind that it is written by the American Association of Patriots, so it has a distinctly conservative bent, which I know not everyone gets excited about. But even if this is not your political affiliation, you can still gets lots of essential information on talking to your cat about evolution, about puberty, about online bullying, and of course about surviving an apocalypse.

Do you know what kind of gun to buy for your cat (not one with a laser scope, as that red dot is very distracting)? What if your cat starts spending lots of time online playing World of Warcat? What kind of self-defense should you teach your cat to prepare him or her for a doomsday (they recommend Claws Maga, the well-known Israeli fighting technique)? All these answers and more can be found in this helpful book, with lots of scenarios that you might not otherwise think of. They have thought of it all, because they talked to the expurrrts.

Seriously, this is a fun book that would make a purrrrfect gift for any cat lover with a sense of humor. Witty and playful with lots of pictures of adorable cats. What more is there in a good book?

I received this book from BloggingforBooks.com for this review.
