floral five minute journal with gratitude prompts
This five-minute journal calls itself the journal for those who don’t journal. it’s a way to check in every morning and night, just for a few minutes, and can help you track affirmations and wins as the days go by. It’s filled with positive statements and encouragement to be the person you want to be, and there are daily quotes for inspiration to face each day.
The front of the journal has several short articles about how to use the journal and the power of daily affirmations. It talks about starting the day with gratitude and not ending the day without putting a question out to the subconscious. It stokes belief in magic and helps users take steps to making those dreams come true. There is even a contract I can make with myself to use the journal for at least 5 days a week and what I have to do if I fail (I’m thinking sit-ups?) as well as a statement of identity.
And then it goes into the daily pages. Each page is for one day, and there are spaces to write in the morning and in the evening. Every morning, there is room for 3 things that I am grateful for, 3 things that would make today great, and a space to write my daily affirmations. Each evening, there is room for 3 highlights of the day and a space for what I learned.
The journal itself is well-constructed, with a floral cover and a bookmark to help keep my place. It looks good on my bedside, which makes it easy to remember to journal every day. And I like how I can use it to track what’s going on each day without having to write a long entry.
