small FM radio with bluetooth

This tiny radio is packed with features. It can be held comfortably in one hand, but it can play the radio (FM stations only—do AM stations still even exist?), can connect by Bluetooth, or can read from a USB or TF card.

When I originally saw this tiny radio, I thought it would be perfect as an emergency weather radio, to throw in a bag for those days when the weather might get bad. I live in the Midwest, and here we learn young when to take cover and to have a way to keep the news close, so you can stay safe from the tornadoes.

But this little guy does so much more. I can also listen to music or audio books from my phone, with a simple Bluetooth setting. I can listen to baseball games on the radio or listen to my favorite local station while I’m cleaning. I can easily take it to work and use it there, or I can move it from room to room.

I did have some trouble finding the radio station I wanted. It would be useful to have a tuning knob like on typical radios, but I finally got the hang of the scan function to find the station I wanted. Also, the volume tuner is a little sensitive. I had to turn it way up to listen to the music from my phone (probably because my phone volume was low), but when I switched back to the radio, it was really loud.

But those aside, I really like this radio. I love the size, and I was happy with the sound. It wasn’t perfect acoustics, but it sounded like a radio, so that was just what I was looking for.
