These snack containers are adorable and so handy. They are perfect for adding fruit or veggies to a lunch or sending dips to make things taste better. One of my first thoughts on seeing them was that it would be an easy way to add a side of salsa and sour cream for a taco salad in my lunch.

These snack trays are small and can easily fit into a lunch bag, so it works for kids as well as adults. I love to take fruit in my lunch, but I don’t like having to add several different plastic containers to my lunch bag. This gives me a chance to add some homemade applesauce or macerated fruit along with some peanut butter to dip carrots into.

The compartments are separate, but with movement they can intermingle, so I would pack them into the lunch bag in a way that they’ll be pretty stable. I don’t worry about that much for myself, as I am a boring adult, but I would be mindful of that packing snacks up for kids to take to school.

Each snack tray comes with a small matching spork, which is so cute. But they are fragile. I broke one just getting it out of the packaging. So while they are adorable, they probably won’t last long. I’d make sure that you have some backup utensils with you (or your kids) just in case.

That being said, I’m really happy with these for me, as an adult. I think they will last long and be super helpful. I think they can work well for kids also, but you’ll need to be more careful about what you pack in it.
