purple magic gloves

I am a big fan of magic gloves. I tend to keep a pair in every coat I own, plus one in the car and one in my tote bag, just in case. The small size makes them easy to lose, especially if they’re the ones that don’t really grow to the size of your hands and keep your wrists cold. Maybe I should mention I live in the US Midwest, where weather seems to change with the hour. It could be sunny in the morning, and when you leave work for the day, you find that you have to clear off a few inches of snow from you car, so you learn young to stay prepared for anything.

These magic gloves are definitely keepers. They are soft and they expand to keep my wrists covered, so I won’t get the snow up my shirt sleeves (snow people know what I mean, and oddly, that is a pain that burns). I got purple, so they won’t pick up dirt stains. Plus, I just like purple, and this is a beautiful shade of it. I will be stashing these to the pockets of my favorite winter coat and move the ones I had there to a lesser coat. These will be my gloves for the season, and if I find that for some reason I need new ones for one of my many coats, I will reorder these. But probably in a different color, just to switch things up.
