It turns out that summer is the perfect time to add furry cow print accessories to your car. I got the 4-pack for my 2007 Toyota, and I am thrilled. First of all, I love the whimsy. I am a Midwestern girl, I have to say, '“Cow,” every time we drive by cows, so I think the cow print is a lot of fun. I thought it would make me smile when I get in my car, and it does, but it does so much more.

First of all, the temperatures here have been in the 90s for a couple of weeks, and that steering wheel cover makes driving in heat so much more comfortable. I have a sunshield that I use as my car sits in the hot parking lots every day while I’m at work, but the steering wheel would still get really hot. The steering wheel cover takes care of that, making driving home easier, since I can actually touch the steering wheel.

But more than that, these covers are fuzzy and soft. I am someone who occasionally feels some anxiety while driving, and having these soft covers to run my hands over helps. It’s comforting and soothing when I’m sitting a long light or dealing with construction. I was not expecting these covers to help me with that. And I’m not saying it would work that way for everyone, but it does work for me.

I was a little concerned when I first tried to fit the steering wheel cover on, as it looked like it was about half the size of my steering wheel. But I tried a couple more times, and it stretched out a little more each time. Finally I was able to stretch it around the entire wheel, and it fit perfectly. The console cover just slips right on, and the brake handle cover went on easily too. I wasn’t able to fit the gear shift cover on my car, but again, my car is a 2007. So I am a little disappointed by that, but I don’t feel like I can complain. It will fit most gear shift knobs, just not mine, which is fatter than the typical knob.

Overall, I am thrilled with how well this set fit in my car and with how it looks and feels. And I can drive around all summer without my steering wheel burning my hands, which makes me very happy.
