assorted birthday cards humorous

assorted birthday cards humorous

I have ADHD, so I am always forgetting birthdays. I have reminders in my phone for the important ones, but when it comes to coworkers or acquaintances, I’m usually reminded by social media or the work newsletter because those dates just don’t stick in my brain. So I love the idea of card assortments, so I can keep a selection of cards on hand for birthday emergencies when they come up.

This assortment is clever and funny. There are a few of these that are a little harsh on the aging humor (“Your chariot awaits” with an illustration of a walker), but mostly they’re light ribbing. They’re printed on sturdy cardstock, and while they’re smaller than a typical American greeting card (they’re 4”x6”), they’re still within the guidelines for a single stamp. The envelopes aren’t adhesive—there is just a flap to tuck in—but if you were to mail it, a little tape would keep it shut. There are also stickers that say Happy Birthday to add some decoration or to help keep the envelope closed.

All of the cards have a different decoration, and they’re all funny. They’re not all appropriate for anyone, as some are clearly for closer friends, but that’s the fun of a card assortment. They are all designed to bring a smile, and the blank inside means you can write whatever message you want. I love this assortment, and I love that I can throw them in a drawer at work or in my bag and be ready for any birthdays (well, adult birthdays—these aren’t designed for kids) that pop up during the week.
