This book cracked me up when I read it back in 2018. It’s like The Devil Wears Prada, if Anne Hathaway’s character was secretly a serial killer.
I thought the story was fresh and acerbic, and it offered a fun twist on what had become a tired story line. I mean, I love the original Prada book, and I thought that the movie was even better. But you wouldn’t want to do another movie that was too similar. So I thought that this one offered a fresh take, something unexpected. It’s a quick read and would make a frothy movie. But with blood.
