1. New car! I got a Honda CR-V, used of course, but in very good shape still. I am pretty happy, and looking forward to many years of driving it around and feeling safe in bad weather and having fewer issues than I had with my last car. Now I just need a name.

2. World Cup soccer, yes, again. There are so many games, so it’s on almost all the time. I love watching the fans, and I’m a little obsessed with the talk shows around it all. Usually I’m bored by the talking heads, but it was Real Housewives level planning to put Thierry Henry, Alexi Lalas, and Zlatan on a panel together. And then there is a podcast with Rebecca Lowe and Brendan Hunt? He’s Coach Beard from Ted Lasso, and he knows a lot about soccer, but it’s a worlds-colliding event for me (Seinfeld fans, you understand what that means, right?).

3. We spent several hours at the car place on Saturday, but I’ve also been able to spend some time this weekend just laying on the sofa, relaxing. I need to do that more. Especially since there were several times that our adorable cat came over and laid on top of me. It’s so awesome to be cat furniture.
