1. Food Network’s Tournament of Champions is back! Right now, we are watching the qualifiers, and it’s just nice to be back. I realize that it wasn’t that long since we were here, since they decided to do a holiday version late last year, but I’m still excited.

2. Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. We spent a quiet evening at home with a couple of steaks and a cat begging for bites. And he got me chocolates from my favorite local place, Christopher Elbow. And I don’t think I’m the only one. I saw a video of his shop on Saturday, and there were people everywhere. But my guy doesn’t worry about that, as he got it shipped and they arrived on Friday. Perfect timing and delicious! I am very lucky.

3. We have had gorgeous weather lately. It’s like spring. It’s not spring, but the temperatures are like spring. And that is helping me a lot. My car is older and gets cranky about starting in cold weather. I need to take it in the shop, but I just haven’t had the extra energy this would take. So these warmer temperatures are really helping me out. Plus, it’s nice out, which is lovely. That is making me happy.
