1. My boyfriend is a knife collector. And knife guys have other accessories, like pens. I am not a knife collector, but I do love a good pen. So when he saw this on Kickstarter, he decided to get it for me. It has four different color inks that I can switch back and forth, and it writes beautifully. I am a lucky girl!

2. He also decided to make steak and mashed potatoes for dinner tonight. He makes the best mashed potatoes, and he made extra for me to eat all week long.

3. Now that' it’s November, it feels like fall. The temps have gone down a little and the leaves are changing colors and falling. There’s still a couple more days of political ads, but the Christmas ones are popping up too. I wish I could stay home for the rest of the year and read and bake, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. So I will try to grab some time for those over the next couple of months and try to remember to let the rest of the worries go.
