1. I had a nice salad for lunch today, one of those where all the components are packed together in a bag and you put it all together. I got the Sesame Asian, and then someone came along and started stealing the wontons on top.

2. Premier League soccer is back. Bundesliga is back. And MLS is still going. I’m pretty close to soccer heaven these days.

3. Nebraska Cornhuskers won their first game of the year, played here in K.C. at Arrowhead. It was an amazing game, and they won in the final minutes. It was amazing, and I hope the rest of the season is just as magical. Go Big Red!
