1. This week is Thanksgiving. Ever since I was a kid, I loved this holiday. I’m looking forward to having two days off to relax and eat and watch sportsball, followed by a weekend. While I don’t still get the big family celebrations I used to, I’m happy to spend time with those I love the most, even if one of them tries to steal all the turkey off my plate.

2. I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift’s new album off and on for a few weeks now, and last week, Bowling for Soup put out a cover of Actually Romantic. And I absolutely love it. I’ve been a fan of BFS since A Hangover You Don’t Deserve, and their cover of this song makes me happy the way those songs made me happy. Trucker Hat. Ohio. Smoothie King. Next Ex=Girlfriend. And the king for everyone who watched videos in the ‘80s, 1985.

3. Coziness. I am ready for winter, to climb under a pile of soft blankets and binge watch television or read books. I made a big pit of chicken and noodles tonight. I added a new blanket to the bed, and it seems like it has the stamp of approval from he who matters the most. And for the record, he seemed to like the chicken too.
