1. Holiday editions of some of my favorite cooking shows. Food Network has the holiday Beat Bobby Flay episodes, where his friends come and take him on in holiday-themed cook-offs. Tournament of Champions has a holiday themed going where savory chefs and pastry chefs are teaming up. And Next Level Chef has a short season of Next Level Baker, where Gordon Ramsay will be joined by Carla Hall and Candace Nelson (those of you who watched Cupcake Wars in the day may recognize her name, as she was a judge and the creator of Sprinkles Cupcake Bakery).

2. We are less than two weeks out from Thanksgiving. How crazy is that? Ever since I was a kid it was one of my favorite holidays. I am so ready. I am looking forward to a lovely 4-day weekend filled with turkey, mashed potatoes, and pie.

3. Folding clean laundry in a chilly basement. Even when it’s halfway through November and the basement is only chilly because the air conditioning is still on. Still makes me happy.
