1. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. It ended up costing me more than I expected, but I got the brakes spruced up and the front struts, and now Duncan is all ready for the coming winter. I am hoping (as always) for a mild winter, but I am prepared for worse.

2. Bundesliga is back! It’s time for German soccer.

3. This last week, I spent less time listening to audio book and went back through my podcasts. I found one I had been wanting to listen to, so I did. Blame it on the Fame is the story of Milli Vanilli. It’s actually really good, and I found out a lot more about the story. I remember when they came out of nowhere and were suddenly all over the airwave with their catchy songs and long braids. I remember when they were publicly humiliated for not really singing the songs. But I didn’t know about what came before that or what happened after. The podcast does a really good job, and if you’re wanting to know more about the story of Rob and Fab, then girl, you know it’s true you should listen to it too.
