1. We went out on Saturday and did things. We went to a couple of artisan food shops, for croissants and fancy cheese. We went to my favorite indie bookstore. And we went to my favorite doughnut and ice cream shop, Fairway Creamery. I ate up that ice cream, a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of salted pretzel. And that chocolate sprinkles doughnut and apple fritter are gone now too. So delicious though!

2. Last week was rough at work. We had tight deadlines, and it was struggle to meet them. But we were able to end in a good place, so I will be walking into a much easier week tomorrow. Plus, Thursday is the Fourth, so it’s a day off, and I took off Friday too. This will be a short week of work and a long week of kitten snugs. Sounds perfect!

3. After a couple of very hot weeks and a crazy humid Saturday, today was lovely. It wasn’t too hot, it wasn’t too muggy. It was perfect weather, which is rare for the end of June. The year is halfway over. This first half was brutal. Let’s hope the second half of 2024 is a little gentler.
