1. The race for the Stanley Cup. When Florida won the first three games, I figured it was over. I was disappointed. I’m not a huge hockey fan, but I will watch when it’s on. And I was hoping that Edmonton would win. And then in game 4, they showed up, and they showed up hard, winning 8-1. They won the next two games too, and tomorrow is game 7. Go Oilers, eh?

2. Earlier this year, we got a new refrigerator, and now it keeps all my ice cream treats nice and cold. Love that!

3. And speaking of ice cream treats, how about this one? This is the third one I’ve tried. First, I went with candy bar, and it turned out to have peanut butter and caramel (probably wouldn’t have been a surprise if I’d taken the time to read the packaging before I bought it), then cookies and cream, and now this Mint Chocolate. I expected a mint chocolate chip vibe, but no. It’s an Andes mints stashed in the freezer vibe, and it’s delicious! These have all been so good, with lots of textures and fun inside. Perfect for a summer that started with a bang and probably won’t cool down any time soon.
