1. Today was the Chiefs game where Travis Kelce invited Taylor Swift. When she was in town with her Eras Tour, he had tried to give her his phone number after the show, not realizing she didn’t meet with anyone after the show to save her voice. There had been some rumors since about them “quietly hanging out” in New York. And today, she was at the game, sitting next to his mother Donna (a local hero). She cheered and seemed to have a lot of fun. So no matter what happens this season for the Chiefs, there will be a lot of TSwift song references, and that should make it more fun than usual.

2. Last week was rough at work. Lots of deadlines, lots of absences. But we did manage to get a lot done, and I think we’re in a good position for this week. And after this week, things should ease up again, which will be a relief. It will be nice to have a breather.

3. It’s officially fall! Summer is over. Bring on the apple cider and flannel. I want Halloween candy, I want crunchy leaves, I want hoodie weather. It’s time, at last, and I am here for it.
