1. Worst Cooks in America is back. This show is hilarious, for those of us who don’t have to eat anything. Although it does make me think of when Alex Guarnaschelli was on the show with Anne Burrell, and Anne told her how she would burn her tongue on really hot tea on those days she has to taste a bunch of scary food. This season they are also all single, so it’s like twice the cluelessness for one low price.

2. After a couple of really hot weeks, we’re cooling back down to the 80s. It may spike back up again, but today was just gorgeous out. Blue sky, high clouds, a light breeze, not too hot, not too humid. It was a taste of fall, heading our way soon, and it was just what I needed.

3. It’s been a while now since the writers and actors have been on strike, and I’m actually really proud of them. It could have been easy for them to give in, but they’re sticking it out, and I think that’s amazing. I hope they get everything they are asking for!
