1. Tonight, right now actually, is the final episode of this season’s Tournament of Champions. This season has been extra crazy, I can’t wait to see who wins this season!
2. This coming Friday we get to go see Patrick Hinds on his book tour. His book, Failure Is Not Not an Option, doesn’t come out until September, but he’s touring already. I think it’s an excuse to travel around the country and yell a lot (anyone who listens to his True Crime Obsessed podcast knows what I’m talking about). But it should be a very fun night, and I (of course) can’t wait to read the book!
3. Yesterday, I got to see my two favorite aunts. I hadn’t seen one since Christmas, and the other it had been even longer, so I was excited, with reservations. It meant close to 5 hours in the car, driving, so that made for a long day. I am nursing some pain today—sore shoulder, back, knees, ankles. But I’m so glad we were able to make it happen. And then I got to come home to this guy. I had to make sure to use the bathroom before I sat down, because I got Lap Kitty for a nice long time.
