1. This was a weird week. I had a dentist appointment and had to take my mother to the emergency room (she’s okay, sent home with pain meds and suggestions on living better). And the NFL Draft was in town, so there were several days of football talk and little else. And that’s only about half of what was going on. It was just a crazy week. But we got through it, enjoyed a lovely brunch today with friends we don’t get to see often, and just stayed home the rest of the day to relax.
2. There are homemade chocolate chip cookies in the oven right now. What could be better than that?
3. I got new sneakers because I had worn my last ones until they were painful to wear. And when I got the new shoes, someone got a new shoe box. DonDon loves a good box!
