1. So happy for the Philadelphia Eagles for winning the game today. Still watching the Chiefs and the Bengals, tied at 20-20 in the fourth quarter. I am hoping for a KelceBowl this year, but we will see. Either way, it’s been an amazing year for all these guys, and I look forward to watching at least the commercials in a couple of weeks. [Edited: Chiefs won! We’re going to the KelceBowl!]
2. Last night was the Royal Rumble, my favorite of all the WWE pay-per-views. For the most part, I was happy with the rumbles. The winners were not surprises, but there were a couple of interesting twists along the way. It’s hard to know for sure what’s going on with the WWE these days (thanks for that, Vince), but it was a decent show. And clearly, a big sports weekend.
3. I finally tried out the mini Bundt cake baker I got for Christmas. I tried the vanilla recipe and the chocolate recipe that they provided in the included recipe book. Well, almost. The chocolate recipe calls for sour cream, and I ditched mine at the last minute because of a funky smell. I want to play around with different cake recipes, and I have put a glaze or frosting on them yet, but I think they’re kinda cute. I look forward to playing around some more.
