1. The podcast Dark Air. Actor Rainn Wilson has created this farce of paranormal radio shows and recorded it with friends, and it is hilarious! I am having so much fun listening to this story, and I can’t wait to see how it ends!
2. Ice cream. I finally tried one of those Blue Bunny Load’d Sundaes, and it’s amazing. I started with the French Silk Pie, and it is so wonderfully tasty! There are fun textures, and it’s just ribboned with deliciousness throughout. It is definitely a treat!
3. And speaking of treats, we were in the part of town close to my favorite doughnut/ice cream shop, owned by my favorite pastry chef/chocolatier. Christopher Elbow has named the place Fairway Creamery, and if you ever find yourself in or near Fairway in Kansas, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop. I got some ice cream to go (the Madagascar Vanilla is my bf’s favorite, the Dark Chocolate is mine) as well as some doughnuts. Chocolate sprinkles, obviously. The one with the poppy seeds is lemon, and the other one is grapefruit olive oil. It melted in my mouth. Thank you again, Mr. Elbow, for an amazing taste experience!
