1. The Premier League. They have been boycotting social media to protest online discrimination and abuse. I know that there have been issues—I’ve heard about PL footballers deleting their social media accounts because of the bullying and racism that’s been directed their way. I applaud their taking a stand and hope that somehow it helps.
2. I got my second shot over the weekend. So far my only side effect has been a sore arm, and I’m grateful for that. But I’m even more grateful that tomorrow is the two-week anniversary of my boyfriend getting his second shot, so he’s made it to the other side. He is officially Fully Vaccinated. That makes me very happy.
3. Last weekend was Independent Bookstore Day, and I know I was grateful for it last week. Because I am very grateful for our indie bookstores. But this week, my swag started rolling in. The Anne Lamott book—Dusk, Night, Dawn—is autographed by her. I am thrilled!
