1. Clinched! Last night, Sporting played the Seattle Sounders in Seattle, and they won, clinching their spot in the playoffs. Bonus soccer. Very excited!
2. Gravy. We have leftover gravy in the fridge, so I got some turkey breasts and put them in the oven to roast with some vegetables, lemons, and herbs. It’s so easy and delicious. I can’t wait to eat!
3. This guy. I usually talk about the little orange one, but today I want to talk about the big orange one. Tomorrow is his birthday. He’s had a tough year, juggling a lot of things to keep us all healthy and happy, but he has done a heroic job of it. He is smart and funny and generous with his time and ideas. He works very hard and plays hard and loves with his whole heart. I am so lucky to have gotten to know him, and even luckier that he made room in his home, in his life, and in his heart for me. I hope you have a wonderful birthday, my love, and I hope this next year brings you more love, more kitten snugs, more success, and more good sleep than you know what to do with! Love you!
