1. Local news. Sometimes it pays to watch the local news. Ours did a story late last week about local company Hostess and how they’re experimenting with new flavors and snacks. And they told us how to put our name on the list to be a tester. You know I’m all in for that! Thanks, KMBC!
2. The night that we couldn’t decide what to do for dinner and didn’t have much energy to deal with it, and my awesome boyfriend just turned to the computer and ordered from our favorite chicken place. He got a chicken friend steak, and I got fried chicken, and we got lots and lots of mashed potatoes and gravy. Plus cinnamon buns. Food for days!
3. Yesterday we got together with a small group of friends for games and fun. We had a great time, and it was good to see friends in person again. I look forward to the next get-together!
