1. We had another ice storm/snow storm Friday evening into Saturday, but I’m getting used to them. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home Friday, and aside from that madhouse, it’s been a quiet, restful weekend spent mostly indoors watching tv and reading and sleeping and hanging out with the cutest little ginger cat ever. We did very little, and it felt wonderfully productive and calming.
2. What a crazy game! It was the wrong football, but watching the Chiefs come back from that awful first quarter was amazing! I am so proud of them, and I look forward to seeing what happens in the next game.
3. I’ve been watching the Starz’s Dublin Murders, and it’s fantastic. I was feeling a little lost at first, as there is so much happening, but I started the audio book for In the Woods (Dublin Murders is based on the first 2 titles in the series, that and The Likeness), and it made watching the show so much richer. This morning I watched enough episodes to get ahead of my reading, but I’m okay with that. I will keep watching, and I will keep listening. Such a fantastic book series, and a beautiful television series.
