1. I used my “free” day off on Friday, and it was lovely. I can’t remember the last time that I had a day off with no to do list, no errands, no appointments, just a day off reading and hanging out with my cat. It was absolutely lovely. I am immensely grateful.
2. My bank offered me a chance to skip my December loan payment, so I can have a little extra money for the holidays. I appreciated that. My car payment isn’t huge, but every little bit helps smooth things out at the end of the year.
3. We get an extra hour tonight. Or really, we get our hour back from spring. But it is a very exciting extra hour of sleep. Unless, like me, you have a cat who wants breakfast early on the weekends. So for me it’s an exciting extra hour to read. Still good though! Woot extra hour!
