currently reading: I’m still reading the K-pop fandom memoir I’ll Love You For Ever, which is just lovely. If you’re into K-pop or not, I recommend this one. It’s that good.

I’m also reading Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man), which comes out Tuesday. It’s the follow-up to Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, and it’s just as fun. If you enjoy a humorous mystery with a strong character investigating, then stop by Vera’s tea shop and help her find a killer.

up next: the big book out next week is the new Jennifer Weiner, The Griffin Sisters’ Greatest Hits. It’s about sisters who hit it big as a pop band and then flamed out a year later. Now, it’s 20 years later, and the two sisters are faced with new information about the band breakup. I can’t wait to dive in! I loved her The Breakaway, where she finally wrote about her love of bike riding. I am really looking forward to this one too.

And I wanted to show off this beauty that I bought. My friend Tracy has set up an Etsy shop selling unique and first editions. I had to get this one, as it has my name on it. But feel free to browse for yourself and see what you can find. She’s at Two Tramps Books on Etsy. Check her out there and see if she has anything that catches your eye.

But mostly, keep reading. With everything going on in the world these days, we need readers. Reading can give you am escape from all the newses. It makes you smarter. It encourages empathy. All good things for these troubled times! And what books should you be reading during these dark days? Clearly, whatever makes you happy. That’s always the best book to read!
