Okay, so last week I said I’d review Herbal Medicine in Modern Life, and I didn’t make it. My bad. By the time I got home from work on Friday, I had no more words. I ended up giving up and taking a bath. It still took most of the weekend for me to get some rest, but I am thinking maybe I’m in a better place now? So barring anything (else) going wrong, I will be reviewing that one tomorrow.

currently reading: When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi. It’s coming Tuesday, so get ready! I was hoping to finish it this weekend, but I just couldn’t bring myself to rush through it just to get it done. Reading it is such a pleasure. I want to savor the rest of it.

I’m also still reading I’ll Love You For Ever. It’s also beautifully written, and it’s reminding me of being in junior high and high school and having crushes and fangirling on celebrities. It’s about K-pop, yes, but it’s about so much more. This is such a good book!

I’m also listening to my Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason. No, I haven’t watched the new movie yet. It’s on my (very long) list of things to do. Right now, work is extra busy, so I’m just trying to keep it together for a couple more weeks, and then I’ll be able to breathe a little. But I will say this, also out this week is a thriller I think you’ll be hearing a lot about this summer: Saltwater. A playwright goes missing on Capri, and there are secrets and lies and layers of deception and thrills and more lies and more secrets, and this book will be all over the place in weeks, so watch for it at your local bookstore!

up next: breathing, as I said. And the new Jennifer Weiner, which comes out soon.

Plus, I got this beauty from Simon and Schuster. It’s not out until August, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be hot. Just saying.

Happy spring (finally)! And as always, keep reading!
