currently reading: a thriller about a reality show where couples are sent to a deserted island to try to make it through Survivor type challenges. But then the island is hit with a terrible storm, and the contestants can’t reach anyone from the show. They are just stranded there. With a killer. That’s One Perfect Couple, the new Ruth Ware that’s out Tuesday, and it’s amazing so far!
I’m still working on You May Now Kill the Bride, which just gets juicier the deeper I get into it. These bachelorettes are cutthroat, and the secrets are getting more dangerous. This one is crazy, but like, crazy good.
up next: There are a lot of good summer books coming out soon, so visit your favorite bookstore early and often. And check back here for reviews on The Bump, Birding with Benefits, How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying, The Rom Commers, Pardon My Frenchie, and Just Another Love Story, along with so many more. It’s been a pretty crazy year for me so far, so I can’t promise what will come next, but I’m wanting to just put my head down and keep reading. It’s helping me process and heal from life’s surprises.
I did win this lovely from a Goodreads giveaway, thanks to Henry Holt and Co., and I am looking forward to diving in.
