currently reading: The Breakup Vacation. It came out last week, and it’s lots of fun. A woman goes on vacation with her friends to try to get over her ex. But what she forgot to mention to her friends is that her ex is on vacation in the same place. How far will she go to try to win him back? A perfect spring break story!

Out this week is the latest Frankie Elkin book by Lisa Gardner. I read the first one before it came out, Before She Disappeared, and I fell in love with Frankie. She’s an ex-alcoholic who goes around the country trying to find missing people. Usually they are cold cases, but she’s good at what she does. She finds out what happened. Starting book 3, Still See You Everywhere, I realized I never did read book 2, One Step Too Far. So I’ve been listening to it this weekend, and it’s fantastic. If you haven’t met Frankie yet, and you love a good thriller, then be sure to check out these books. They are phenomenal. And book 2 even has a Bigfoot hunter! I can’t wait to find out what happens!

Also out this week is Happily Never After. When a bride or groom wants to call things off at the last minute but don’t want to be the bad guy, they call in The Objectors. Max and Sophie. During the ceremony, they object to the wedding, so the bride or groom doesn’t have to. But when Sophie thinks she may be falling for Max, she has to wonder if he would object.

up next: I won this beauty from Simon and Schuster through Goodreads, and I am looking forward to reading it. It comes out April 9, and they’re saying it’s “White Lotus meets Patricia Highsmith,” so who wouldn’t want to read that? Anytime someone compares a book to Patricia Highsmith, I have to know more. Can’t wait to read it!
