Wow, how is it November already? This year has been crazy! But there have been lots of good books. And there are still more to come.

currently reading: I am reading People To Follow, which came out last Tuesday and is amazing. A group of ten influencers are brought to a private island for a reality tv show. Then they’re stranded, and if you’re a mystery fan, you can sense what happens next. In a classic closed room (island) story, they start to die one by one. I love the influencer twist to this one, and there is plenty of drama between these influencers for a dozen reality shows, so this book is filled with delicious fun. I am loving it!

I’m also reading The Good Part by Sophie Cousens. It’s a rom com about a young woman who is struggling and makes a wish that she gets to the good part of her life. Suddenly, she’s married with two kids and a great job. But what happened to those years she lost? Can she ever get them back? I am a big fan of Cousens, so this one is lots of fun for me. Look for it in stores Tuesday.

up next: I had a publicist from William Morrow contact me and recommend The Cat Who Taught Zen. I knew immediately I wanted to read it. It’s about a cat, it has gorgeous illustrations, and it’s a sweet, calming book that will make my neurodivergent brain happy. Thank you, Hannah, for the book, and thank you to James Norbury for the amazing story!
