just finished: Oona Out of Order! It comes out Tuesday, and it is so fantastic! I can’t wait to talk all about it! And I finished listening to Anne Lamott’s Almost Everything, read by her, which is such a wonderful experience. I love listening to her books so much, and this was a particularly good one for me to listen to now. And last week I finished listening to Karen Cleveland’s Need to Know, a powerful thriller about the CIA that will make you worry about our Russian connections more than you want to.

currently reading: Daisy Cooper’s Rules for Living, which comes out in early March. It’s about a woman who dies before her time and becomes Death’s assistant until her point in time when she was supposed to die. It’s a funny book, and it makes you think about your own death and what it means to really live. I’m also reading The Plus One, about a tech woman who needs a date for her sister’s wedding. Who says you can’t just make your own robot boyfriend, am I right? I also just started Murder in an Irish Cottage, the latest by Carlene O’Connor about Garda officer Siobhan O’Sullivan. I adore this series, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into this book, especially since the main murder suspects are faeries . . .

up next: The next in Vivien Chien’s wonderful Noodle Shop Mystery series, Egg Drop Dead, another of my favorite cozy series. And Leslie Odom Jr.’s Failing Up on audio.
