just finished: This morning I finished The Truth About Keeping Secrets. It’s a powerful YA thriller about a girl who loses her father and has to learn how to deal with her grief while facing a bully, finding supportive relationships, and maybe even falling in love. It’s got all the feels!

currently reading: I have recently started In a Holidaze, the latest from Christina Lauren. It’s a Christmas rom com (if you can’t tell from the title), and I’m not in very far yet, but I think it’s going to be hilarious! I also just started Surrounded by Psychopaths, by Thomas Erikson. He previously wrote a book called Surrounded by Idiots, and I may have to pick that one up at some point in the future. He categorizes people by colors, so I’m really interested to see how he integrates the colors with the types of psychopaths you may run into on any given day. I think this will be fascinating!

up next: Coming soon, some of my favorite cozy authors have new books coming out. Donna Andrews has a holiday bird mystery coming out this year, so I get to spend more time with Meg and her crazy family with The Gift of the Magpie. M.C. Beaton’s newest Agatha Raisin (finished by a ghostwriter because of her death) is out soon, Hot to Trot. And Ellie Alexander takes us back to her Pacific Northwest brew pub in Without a Brew. I can’t wait!
